    Hi all.
Got my latest blood test results yesterday and everything was ok. Nothing to worry about.
My body is coping with my high level of paraproteins (41) and the medics are hoping that the rev/dex will bring that down. I'm proving a challenge, or rather the paraproteins are proving a challenge, to the medics. My specialist nurse hasn't encountered my stubborn pp's before describing my problem as unique. I feel fine just wish my pp levels would drop. The battle continues.

    Take care

    Hi Andy
Well done on the Bloods M8, and am sure the rev/dex will soon sort it out.

    Keep strong and fit

    Hi Andy

good news that your blood tests are all OK,at least your body is coping with the high PP numbers, I hope that the revlimid and the dreaded dex will sort out the paraproteins in time.
    Keep us posted

Normally we all look for a low PP level but it is interesting that yours are at 41 and all is ok, keep going.

    Kindest regards – vasabyte

    Hi Andy
As long as everythng other that the Mprotein is fine I am sure the levels will come down eventually. It is rather an alarmingly high reading but you are feeling good and it's for the medical team to sort out and they will I am sure, they love the challenge!
    Take care and stay positive.

    Hi Andy
Strange how your pps aren't behaving, there's individuality for you, I was told that a plateau is sometimes what they look for before sct, so hopefully as you are feeling better and the Rev and dex get to work things will improve. Keep in touch.

    Hi Andy

Strange how this MM takes everyone differently. At least if your bloods are OK the PP levels aren't having an adverse affect on your system which is the main thing. Hope the drugs soon kick the levels into touch. How are you coping with reactions to the regime?

    Yes, do keep in touch.

    Best wishes.

    Hiya everyone.
Went for my regular blood test on Friday and everything was ok again – oh except my potassium was low. So I've had to take some extra tablets to boost my potassium – I'm also eating bananas. I finish my second cycle of rev/dex on Saturday and have been given an appointment for my zometa infusion and a bone marrow test next Tuesday. Hopefully the pain of the bone marrow test will be compensated by some good news in the results. Fingers crossed.
I've been feeling ok since my stay in hospital with a high temperature just had the usual dex ups and downs – started my last 4 day course today. I wonder if I'll sleep tonight?
Anyway that's my latest news for now.
I'll probably get a bit anxious nearer bone marrow test results time :-/
Till then lets all stay positive and fight MM into submission 🙂
    Take care all
