Hi everyone,

I am holding a coffee morning to raise funds for Myeloma UK in a few weeks time . Do any of you have a tried and tested favourite cake recipe that I can use please. I have thought of all the usuals, but am in need of inspiration !

Hello Lesley,

I’m a carer for my husband kev and I did a coffee morning in November just gone, have you requested the myeloma pack from this forum? I got some amazing merchandise to help with the day, the pack also contained some cake recipes, what I also did was just put cake recipes into search and your spoilt for choice! I raised £230 with friends & family had a lovely day.

Hi Lesley- Have recipes for several “orange” cake mixes (if you wanted the myeloma UK colours) including an easy make delicious chocolate and orange. Otherwise, have quite a number of others which have always proved popular at previous cake sales. Hi Liz,

Well done on raising £230, gosh no pressure then !! I have the forum pack and have picked up on some of the tips. I think that mine will be a much smaller gathering though. I think that maybe if I hold it on a weekend, more people will be free to come along.
