I haven’t posted in a very long time and have decided to start a new Elran thread – the other one was SUPER useful but I just want to know how it’s going for those who are on elran?
I’ve had my second full dose and the thing bothering me the most is the skin reaction 🙁
Not just the injection site which gets sore and dry but dry skin on my head, face, neck, torso. I was given a steroid cream but it’s made it worse (I will let my team know). If you did have a skin reaction, did it go away? What creams/body washes worked best?
Also, how is your day to day?
Thank you and wishing everyone all the best xxx

    Hi

I realise it’s a month since you posted and I wonder how you are doing now? I started my treatment on Elranatamab the end of March and I Have had ongoing issues with skin reactions. First, it affected my upper torso and dried out my hands and feet. After a few weeks the rash on my body went but I have been left with very dry hands and feet, I use creams everyday just to keep it under control but if I stop it just gets worse to the point where my skin cracks.
After another cycle my legs reacted not as bad as before but they itched and I had blotches for about a month. In the last two weeks it has started on my scalp and my hair is dropping out. I have been chasing my consultant about it but cannot get a reply at the moment.
I have not been referred to anybody and do feel like I am being left to just accept the side effects. I tried antihistamine but it didn’t really seem to make any difference. I have read that maybe steroids are the answer so I will be pursuing this to see if it is recommended.
It seems such a minor thing to complain about when so many people are so ill on cancer treatments but it is something that wears you down.
I hope you are able to get some answers and if I manage to get any I will post on here.
    Best of luck
    Sarah
