I wondered if there was anyone on the forum who was prone to gout before their treatment, who has experienced more frequency or severity of attacks either during or following the induction treatment and maintenance treatment? Posting on behalf of my husband who started treatment last April,now in remission, just started on Lenalidomide. He used to have a gout flare up once every 12-18 months but since starting the treatment is getting far more frequent usually short lived attacks, quickly subdued by Naproxen but has just recently had a very severe and prolonged attack.
Anyone else experience this? I have looked on line and there does seem to be a suggestion that the treatment can cause raised uric acid levels. Any advice welcome.
