    Hi,

my mother is 91yrs old and had a good life. Now newly diagnosed she has MM(stage3) very high paraproteins….. 75% along the course of expectancy.? not sure what that means.? My siblings and I are  un sure how long we have left with her. The doctor authourised a D1500 form or something so one of my siblings has sumised mum has only 3-6 months. She has decided not to have chemo but has been given one radiotherapy sessions. Obviously having dex – steroids in 4 days periods but she seems up and down. Several of my sisters live abroad and would like some guidance of what we should be asking her consultant to give us a time frame (nevermind mum) Any advice? She has lesions on her chest and in her head. With lynct lesions on the outside of the legs.  sorry if i have mispelt the technical words

Hi – sorry to hear about your mum.

It may be worth speaking to one of the nurses on the Infoline – they may be able to help you.

    Good luck,

    C x
