Thank you Gaye, the consultant has now done the ward round. It appears that it is my sacrum causing the problem and not my hip! They are referring me an orthopaedic consultant to have a biopsy done on my sacrum (tail like bone at the bottom of the spine)…….lovely! The scan showed it was swollen but they don't know why but it is not avascular necrosis.

Sorry I have not replied before Kevin. Too busy feeling sorry for myself.I do hope that your medical team find something that will bat your latest problems into touch very soon.

Hi Kevin,
Haven't heard from you for a wee while so just checking in to find out if your OK, Hope to hear you have made a tiny bit of improvement since last post. Get well soon
On the plus side all of that bl***y snow has melted up here in the frozen north. But its still cold. Dread to think of the central heating bill to come.
