It’s 2 years today since I had my SCT and how am I feeling? Absolutely brilliant!
I know there are a lot of folk using the forum at the moment who are either preparing for, or have just had their SCT, so I just wanted to offer a bit of encouragement to you all.
Apart from the odd bit of bone pain and a few nights when I find getting to sleep difficult, I can honestly say that after a few weeks of recovery, my life has been totally back to normal and every day has been lived to the full. Holidays? yes. Decorating a whole house? yes. Making the most of every day totally drug-free? Yes.
The only downside is the speed at which that 2 years has flashed by.
So to all of you I’d say, all the ghastly months of treatment and the SCT are definitely worth toughing out and there are many years of good quality life still ahead of you to enjoy!
