Hi all, Well where has the time gone; I had my allo graft transplant last February and so far recovery has gone well, with only a couple of mild infections which were dealt with quickly.

I’ve just been weaned off of the immuno-suppressants and in the words of my enigmatic consultant, “the action starts now…” So it’s wait and see what level of GVHD I have to deal with and hope for a good graft vs Myeloma reaction as well; which was the whole point of the treatment.

Thankfully my paraprotein level has remained between 2 and 3 since my initial Auto-graft in April 14. This is good as it meant they didn’t have to rush my new immune system into service too soon. So fingers crossed as always and feeling well otherwise, just a bit tired now and again.  Also a final special thanks to all at St. Barts hospital for looking after me so well.

Now then, time for a cuppa!!

    Hi Noel.

That all sounds very good to me. Fingers crossed it continues that way.

    Every day is a gift.
