Hi Jo, yes he's missing his guitar BIG time. Skype is a wonderful thing – last night our frinds at the pub gave us a live show. Bruce joined in with the singing and it gave hime a much needed boost.

After dialysis yesterday they moved him from the isolation side room to the 'tank'. One wall is a giant 'fan' – another is glass.

He had a bit of a fever so they gave him antibiotics. He's been a bit sick and has got the dreaded poo's. They gave him some fluids slowly through the night.

He feels rough, he says he's felt rougher at other times, but he is his usual chirpy self.

The team are great – all of them.

    We will keep everyone posted.

    luv
    Mal & Bruce xx

His temperature has come down and he's grabbing a bit of kip now.

Hi Tom, his temp is up and down like a yoyo. They are keeping a close eye on things, taking samples for cultures from his arm and his line – and keeping him well topped up with antibiotics.

He's hungry but can't keep hardly anything down. He had vegtable curry for dinner and really enjoyed it, then brought it all back up.

Neither of us are sleeping very well and will be glad to get home to our own bed.

I am on bottle and pan duty by choice – at least this way I don't feel completely useless 😀

    luv

Hi Jo, he's feeling a bit better this morning. He's just had a 'build up' soup and a yogurt, hopefully this is the day he'll keep them down.

    luv Mal & Bruce

Hope you are both home soon drinking a glass of bubbly to celebrate life.
    Best wishes Eve&Slim

Hi Dai, neutrophils were zero yesterday, don't know what they are today, think the blood results for everyone were late coming in.

He's kept his dinner down today (a bit of cottage pie and a croissant – it was what he fancied 😀 ).

    Hi Eve & Slim,
We are desperate to get out of here and play our guitars and have half a cold cider each. We miss our cats. We've been in here 2 weeks now and it feels like 2 years. Can't wait to sleep in our own bed. Think I'm rambling 😀

    luv
    Mal & Bruce
