Hi All
Just a quick update on Henry. He is doing so well and Im really proud of him. He will finish his 6th cyle of CDT and monthly premidrinate on Wednesday. He has never moaned, complained or been depressed and is still managing to do an hours drive to work (each way)only 3 days a week and is on 200mg of thalid! Yes he has felt like crap alot of the time, he is slow walking and his appetite is going now as he cant taste anything unless its smoothered in ginger!! so cooking is interesting. He got his blue badge other day so that is a great help. He has lost weight (no bottome now!). His consultant is pleased with this progress and early next year he starts the stem cell process culminating with 4 weeks in hospital in Feb/March. It has been the most traumatic thing our family have had to face but they have all been there for us with is such a comfort. One of our daughters is running the 10k marathon in london for Myeloma and we are so proud of her. I just keep busy but I do still have dark moments usually on the train home from work! However I am extremely intolerant to people who moan in general and they have on occasions received a few sharp words from me!!
I will keep you all posted in the new year and hopefully get henry on here typing himself. Reading all your posts is such a comfort. thank you
