I was diagnosed about a month ago after repeat GP visits from November onwards.
Saw the NHS Consultant again this week, he said my bone marrow biopsy was 80-90%, Spine nothing urgent in the cord, but evidence of Myeloma and a lot of other age degeneration.
He did not like that fact that I have paid for a full body MRI privately that he could not see.
He seemed unaware that my ribs/sternum are the main pain issues even though this was discussed at my earlier appointment.
Hence my interest in seeing a full body MRI, which would include those areas.
My ribs/sternum area very painful and particularly as I now have a cough which is making me choke too.
My digestion seems to have gone to sleep with all of the stress from this diagnosis.
I am feeling quite frightened having gone from a fit person to someone who my partner has to help out of bed in the morning.
I still have to wait until next week to know more about the full body MRI privately before treatment.
Just feed up with it all today.
