well a new journey begins i am keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything goes well you are braver than me I do hope your kidneys come though ok but you have to take the risk as the chemo wasnt working for you
at the end of the day we have to do what it takes:-P

I am also on the same regime as you no real side effects except my ankles swell a bit just a bit of fluid retention so not so bad hate the dex though
I am diabetic so it really plays my sugars up but i can cope with that

sorry I cannot help with the Zometa as I dont have it but some people have reported flu like sysmptoms when they first get it but i think they settle down after a while

I was the same as your mun resistant to the first two antiB'S the good old IV penicillin some times the old drugs are still best how is your mum doing ok now i hope

I am about to start cycle 5 of Velcade I have it once a week with cyclo and dex day one and two so not so bad I also have pamidronate once a month
my PP are now down to 4 so all good except the blip with a dose of pnuemonia been ok in the main

Hospital doesnt it make you feel rotten I hope you will be better soon penicillin soon put me right they said in the hospital they have had so many chest infections that turned into pnuemonia so you be CAREFUL DONT WANT YOU TO GET GET ANY WORSE:-(

Could you try and get him refered to The new McMillan cancer centre at Uch
its state of the art I have recommnded Dia trys as his hospital seem to be mucking him about I suppose you would have to go through McMILLAN BUT ITS WORTH A TRY
