    good to hear from you I quite agree about infections but we cannot be on anti'B all the time as we will lose any protection they might give us so don't know what the answer is I hope you are keeping well God willing:-)

    I didnt have an SCT as my kidneys were damaged PP do fluctuate a bit so dont get worred yet as for calcium I have pamidrinate once a month because i cannot had Zometa which is bad for the kidneys which some times takes my calcium to low so they give me a suppliment just to boost it up a bit to low calcium can give you the shakes and cramps so you can have calcium now and again good luck with your treatments

    glad this regime is suiting you the breaks are good it gives us a bit of time from the hospital you may even get a few days away if you feel up to it my record time was 45mins so nothing like yours its usually 2.5 hrs

    the heat has been bothering me a bit i feel very lethargic and havnt been sleeping to well its a bit of an effort to do anything hope mike feels better soon I am on my seventh cycle of velcade

    I took the thalidomide every day 100mgs until my feet went red hot and it was stopped if i have it next time it will be 50mgs a day did you watch andy murry marvellous match. I too have light chains but i only get them measured once every three months at UCLH as my hospital will not pay for the test

    3 week on CDT is a bit early to worry your body should ajust I had 5 cycles which put me in remission for 3/12 years I had renal failure when diagnosed and my creatinine is still 340 and will never get better but i manage I am now on Velcade which is working well so I hope for another good remission I am sure they will get you well enough to get you back to your family in Australia they have a good program of treatments there also
