I hope you are keeping well at least we are both still here I have just finished my tour of duty with the Velcade yippee:-) been having it since last November with a couple of breaks for pneumonia Doc said I am in remission hope it lasts a long time as for my eyes they have got worse I think its the Dex it seems to affect my eyes quite badly I hope they settle now I am off it for a while:-P

just been to see my kidney consultant he has advised me to drink less and give my kidneys a rest he recommends 1 1/2 to 2 ltrs a day only don't know what to think, what do you think about that. he said they should not be working too hard to get rid of the fluid

not tried the garnier but I have had semi perm colours on during my treatment I thought sod it not going grey it has been ok good luck

all the time I am on the large dose of DEX my legs and ankles have been swollen it seems to make me retain water

385 means I am hovering between 18 and 20% according to my consultant it always seem like the sword of damacles is hanging over my head:-P

sorry to hear about slim as if you havn't enough to worry about don't really know much about potassium except with my kidneys I have to try and avoid it but its coffee that puts mine up I love coffee but if i have a
lot of it, it shows up in my blood tests and I have to cut back I dare not have bananas much

just wondering how you and slim are have you managed to get away in your motor home or is it still making cakes on the south coast! we have had a nice summer for it although it was a bit too hot for me at times having my last velcade treatment this week yippee been a long year we had a mini break in France last weekend which was nice went with my daughter and her husband

how are keeping well I hope I have heard of curcumin I think there is something in all these herbal medicines I take a garlic tablet every day its supposed to be good for the blood My Kidneys have not been marvellous during this velcade treatment hovering around 385 a bit of a worry if they could improve now after Wednesday my last treatment yippee!! been a long year I will be grateful

were you sodium bicarb at on time I am on 1500 three times a day and a 5mgs pred kept me going for 5 years but struggling a bit now

so glad you are doing well and the kidneys are good would you mind if I ask you what medication you are on for your kidneys mine are struggling at the moment I thought velcade was supposed to help but I hasn't helped mine
or it could be the cyclophosphamide don't know

I agree with you my neuts not too bad I avoid colds etc but we go out and about as much as possible got to live our lives hope to go to Majorca in October keep well
