Sorry about your mum,Its not knowing when to make that call,thats the hardest thing,don,t we get conflicting info,telling you to see your doctor!!!! I have been told that if Slim is ill i have to take him to hospital as they can tell within half an hour if he has an infection,and the first couple of hours are crucial !!!

I add my sympathies to ohers. I am just glad that your father didn't have to suffer treatment for MM which would have diminished his quality of life further.

Hi Gina sorry to hear your mum is still poorly but its amazing sometimes the difference a few days can make Paraproteins are coming down nicely and this should continue even if they halve the Velcade. I too thought anti-inflammatories were not good for us. Good luck and hope your mum feels better this week love Bridget x

Hi Dai what a nuisance but thank goodness they did identify it in the end.
