    Hi Dai

Sorry i have missed your post.Rearly good to hear new treatment is working, and you have some releave from the pain.

Finding i cannot keep up with the post, think its because as things improved with Slim,my middle of the night, being wide awake has faded and now sleeping well myself,
It is lovely to hear the old Dai back again,Love Eve

  • Hi Andy

Great! By the time you read this your drastic treatment round will be over. Do hope that the recovery time isn't as bad as feared and that you keep free of infection. We will all look forward to hearing that those PP levels have shrunk beyond imagining.

Sending you lots of positive thoughts.

    Mavis

  • I am another yellow liner, here! A year or so ago our hospital car park started to charge Blue Badgers but there are still a few spots with double yellows which are fairly near the entrances, so most times we don't have to pay.

    Hello to another Mavis

So sorry you have had to join us, but do take some comfort from what everyone is saying, that there are lots of options – more all the time. Of course you will all be in shock, but you will be surprised how much courage you find you have.

Best wishes to all the family.

    Hi Dai

Like everyone else I am delighted that the Rev and Dex are doing the trick. Long may it last. So glad the pain is already coming under control – that will make life so much better. You sound much more like your old self.

    Very best wishes and prayers.

    Mavis.

  • Hello David
Are you on Dex? a side effect of Dex can be hiccups (i get them)I have found that metaclopramide (anti sickness tab)helps to ease or stop them.
otherwise hope you are well and enjoying spring weather.
    cheers Paul

  • Dai

Well done for going back to Uni. Very brave of you and bound to be difficult. Do be kind to yourself. Of course you will have times when you feel tearful – it shows how much you cared for your Dad. You can't just airbrush him out of your thinking. Expect this to go on for a good while. • Hi Janet

Like everyone else, I am sorry that your remission seems to be fading. One thing about "forgetting" to ask "what next?" is that you aren't being rushed into a new decision but have time to think about the kind of treatment you might prefer.

    All best wishes.
