    Hello jet

Thankyou for your reply I hear what you are saying and will certainly ring the number we were given, I think the reason hubby was delaying it seems that's all we do and I know that's what they there for only last week I rang myeloma nurse because of his really bad rash every where which we were told a reaction to drugs and prescribed antihistamine so thats probably made us hold off calling. Thanks again jet will let you know the outcome.

Hi Jean, just read your post dated the 5/5/11 not had much time to post anything lately kev's had a few hiccups the past couple of weeks, trying to get to the bottom of this awful rash that's after his sct, think it's reaction to drugs he's been on and the treatment, and now since Thursday he's been having pain all over ie bones and really bad in his thigh keeps putting off ringing the hossy saying give it a couple of more days! That's men for you, I have been scouring the myeloma site to see if anyone else as experienced this after sct or he as cracked his thigh bone? When he was diagnosed he had cracked ribs and breast bone so as already had bone damage which is a worry, but come Monday I'm onto the hospital.
    Sorry for rambling on.

Hello David, do understand what your saying about being in the garden, and whatever he does he knows
I'll be watching his every move he wouldn't want it any other way.
The docs have told kev they won't let him home till he starts drinking which bless him he's really trying,
He is on iv and today they gave him salts and another transfusion ( his second) and there still going for discharge
    On wednesday! 😎

Thanks for that bridget, I can remember reading an article about being out in the sun after sct so it will be factor 50
Soon as he ventures out into the garden, and he will probably say it didn't take long for the nagging to start! Lol:-D

Hello tinker bell, I think kev was hoping he might be home today nurse said while ur still not drinking they won't let him home, he as been complaining of violent stomach pains when he eats or drinks, the nurse felt his tummy and said it's his bowels so are now going to give him something for it. Had to take a picture of his garden (his pride &joy) yesterday after son in law cut the grass he can't wait to just sit in lounger enjoying it all that goes for me too as for having a vodka hardly touch a drop since kev was diagnosed! Me and kev both will celebrate big style! When he gets go ahead.
If kev comes home midweek and it!s more likely it will be just short of three weeks, so thank you and have a fab trip to Rome!

My hubby kev had his sct last week it's day 8 today he's not very well at all
Felt so useless today wanted to take it all away for him! New this was coming but it still
Upsetting for kev and me and you wonder is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
Kev was diagnosed august 2010 but had the symptoms best part of 2010
Been such a shock I think it's just sinking in.
I have found reading some of the posts on the forum very comforting although I'm
Crying while writing this message and hope it won't happen again!
