    Hi Mike

my partner was diagnosed with MM in July he is on the Myeloma X1 trial and he got the RCD his paraprotein levels are responding well. I notice you are from the West Midlands do you know that Myeloma UK are holding an info day on the 20 October 2012 at the Hilton hotel near NEC? you should meet others with same condiition and hear about the condition and trials etc

thats great news hope all goes well. We were in clinic this week and Dr Chown told us they are changing the clinic to a Trials Clinic on Wednesday afternoons from next month. Sounds a great idea as other MM sufferers on the trials will all be at same clinic. Geoff's Para Protein level is on way down nicely so hope to get to SCT soon.

    Hi Michelle

Thanks for your response, Geoff had the rash from head to toe! it was so horrible, I am glad it will get easier I think once Geoff accepts the diagnosis it will get easier still.

I also know Dorset a lovely part of the country have an Aunty in Swanage.

Hope all is well with you x

    Hi Mke

Sorry to hear you have recently been diagnosed with Myeloma. My partner Geoff is 54 and has recently been diagnosed, we also live in Gloucester and attend the EJU outpatients. Was wondering if you would like to meet Geoff and perhaps you can help each other through the treatment.
