    And a warm Welcome to you and well done to you.

    After my SCT in 2009 (Dec) I went onto Zometa for 2 years am now in remission and drug free 😀
    The Zometa might give you symptoms of Flu but that will soon wear off.

    Thanks for posting Pats article. I read it on twitter, I follow him as he has some great insights and info, and found it to be very apt. I have found that those around me look at me and think I'm beating MM because I "look well" but I'm not. I know it's a fight I can't win.     Thanks Mavis and Tom.
    I've been told by my specialist nurse if I make it to cycle 25 Revlamid will then be supplied free for me to the NHS. Now that's a goal to aim for. 🙂 Though it'll cost the NHS a canny bit to get me there lol.

    Its always strange when Meds change with no discussion :-S and am sure you do always ask?.
    But I was on Zometa and had that for two years post SCT, just had flu like symptoms for a few of the treatments.

    Sarah, Frank keep eye out for Jaw problems as it can have problems on the Jaw bone.:-/

    I was diagnosed in Jan 2009 first line of treament was CTD I had 5 courses of it, that led up to my SCT in December 2009 in Castle Hill Hull.
    Now in remission and Drug free now 😀 and I now only go see Consultant every four Months.

    Its not good but its Better than having MM :-S .

    I think you should ask if R/T will help ease the pain in your back??, let us know what exercise they say you can do as am sure it will be same as us MM folk should be able to do 😉 .

    Well I haven't had a 2nd i have only had one.
    Would I have another?? am not sure Georgina as I understand treating MM with Drugs with No SCT is a good way to go I think at the moment.
    Sorry to hear your Dad's SCT has failed.

    as for Chest Infections well I think thats me also with this Bloomin MM.

    Aint heard of a "Lung Nodule" ? what are they doing with it then Gill and what do they about it??

    Its not a problem, your dad will slowly feel better but dont expect it to be soon it will take a bit of Time even when he is out of Hospital.
