    Hi Everyone
    One quick question,Slims has had his Hickman Line in since the 24 of April,which I have to say is very handy for taking bloods,It took over 4 hours to get in,and now I am wondering when it will come out!!!!:-S

    I noticed on David,s Musing his was taken out before he left hospital,!!!
    Can any one tell me when there,s came out.:-P Eve

    Eve keep your eye on Slim's facial hair when it grows back, mine sometimes I grew a Pencil tash like in the old movie's (or so am told lol) just a thin neat line grew all on its own, but my hair grew back darker with a lovely wispy curl Lol and gosh was I pleased to get rid of that lol.

    Hi Well Friday was an easy day,bloods in the morning then waiting for the call to go back in for platelets.It never came,so rang up,Slims platelets have gone up to 26,still boarder line,but they decided platelets not needed.

    Have another appointment on Monday,same again bloods,so we will see what results,that brings.

    Keep going Girl I know its hard and I feel harder for the Carer/watcher than us with MM, as while we are confined to bed we can sleep.

    Just to add a little bit more The treatment I went through from start to this day was for me "Pain Free" except when I was having the growth injections I had pain in my rib cage and that was intermittent for I think four days.

    I can only say take the chance you have been given,Slim and I were very unsure,one because his own consultant thought Slim had to much damage to his lungs.So at the end of the day it had to be Slims choice,I would never have forgiven myself if I pushed him,and he died.
