    As for pain? well I have a bit of pain but am sure it isn't down to the myeloma :-S might be just old age as all my bloods (well thats what the tell me) are Ok, only effects I had with the Zometa was a flu like symptom for a few days after getting it infused :-/

    The consultant said the magic word,it has taken a year,must admit when travelling to the hospital,we were both thinking it was not on the cards as Slim has not been well the last 2 weeks.

    So waiting on Kings for appointment!!!!

    I know its hard but may be your dad is better off at home,you do need that home visit to asses how much help is needed,you do not say if he has a carer who can provide a good level of care.
