Hi Helen.
Oh the joys of MM. As you say it's a roller coaster of a ride this journey of ours. There are reasons to be optimistic – plateau, few plasma cells etc. as for the back pain hopefully that's just a consequence of over use. Neutrophils 1.0 that's the norm for me.
You say you feel great at the moment well to me that's a good indicator…[Read more]

Hi Ian
I'm on RCD. Revlamid is taken orally for 21 day then 7 days off. I don't get many side effects from the Revlamid but it can make you tired and depress your neutrophils. My main problem is with the cyclophosphamide side effects which are nausea for 2-3 days after taking it. It can also depress your neutrophils mine hover between 0.8 and 1.1…[Read more]

Hi Everyone
Twice a week I clean and massage Slims feet, It help as his feet are very tender and cold since treatment .I use Cocoa Butter Formula. While I was applying lotion,he was reading the container, recommended for stretch marks. With a dry sense of humour he wants to know if it,s possible .:-P

If the CTD mad such an impression on the MM after just one cycle, I too would stick to it.
Getting the virus was just very unfortunate, but shouldn't cause a drastic change of treatment plan.
It took 6 cycles to get me into remission. It was pretty gruelling but well worth it. The drugs did their job and the side effects all turned out to be…[Read more]

Hi Terry
Only you know your own personal financial circumstances and whether you enjoy the job you're currently doing or not.
All I can say is that if I could afford to give up a job I didn't enjoy, I would.
The impression you give is that you don't enjoy the work you do and you'd rather be using your time up restoring your cars. Maybe…[Read more]

Hi Terry
As long as you don't have an extraction, I was told that there's no problem with just a filling, but you must tell your dentist of any drugs you're on, particularly biphosphonates. (eg Zometa).
I'm sure the most painful bit for you will be the cost!
I hope you get it sorted quickly and easily.
Michele.

Hi Mary
What Tom says is right. The cleaner the better. Frank came home after SCT 2 weeks ago. He did try to climb stairs as soon as he got in but didn't make it. Couple of hours later he did. Now it is his daily exercise – climbing the stairs. I would add to vet all visitors. Mind you I only allow the family and no one else. They know that if…[Read more]
