Not because of any hygiene or general health issues, I am sure that you have everything covered in that respect… I was thinking more along the lines of being left alone to get on with it. Still, I can see the benefits of being surrounded by familiar things… and…[Read more]

  • Hi Ivan,

I think I will be the third person to raise the matter of going to work in such a variable environment re: people and bugs and germs etcetera… perhaps it might be judicious to ring your bleep holder (if you have one) or your lead nurse or failing that anyone at the centre where you attend for your MM matters.

    I really would seek…[Read more]

Hi Gill, hopefully mum will start to feel better soon, it is only her 2nd day of velcade so early days. She has that many drugs that she is rattling. The gp said to half her blood pressure tablet and if blood pressure stays low then to ring him back. • Hello again Ivan

DEX is awful we here have invented a word DEXITUDE my husband thought I had turned into a monster I think the lack of sleep does it. Its not so bad if you take the Dex first thing in the morning and the thalidomide last thing at night you then might get a bit of sleep I would be careful if you are mixing with a lot of people…[Read more]

    Hi
Sorry for the delay but only just read your post. If it helps my level has gone both up and down in the past (by quite a lot) and I often thought it was when I was very tired or under more pressure at work.
Hope your getting some answers – it´s difficult to ask when they always seem so laid back but remember they know all about it and we…[Read more]

    Okay – Blog On!

I have my consult on Monday, previous to starting my next cycle of Velcade = Cycle 5. Cycle 4 slipped by almost unnoticed due to the kerfuffle with my left pin but overall it was a very good cycle… by far the best regarding side-effects… its just a matter of seeing if the reduction in strength (Velcade – from 2.1 to 1.49)…[Read more]
