    Hi Mohammad

My husbands Amitriptyine was increased from 5 m to 25 m.by consultant in Kings Hospital London for PN,see consultant!!!!

Also I used a coco based buttermilk cream which I massaged his feet and legs,I still do this as it helps circulation plus helps with dry skin.

I can only imagine that you are either on megabucks in your job or you believe that the difference between your wage and all possible benefits makes this suffering you are going through seem worthwhile.

Put it this way… your insurance firm gets a claim from you saying you have got a terminal illness and you wish to make a claim…[Read more]

A number of people on here, had problems with private insurance, one I can think of is Gill, her husband was at deaths door, and insurance still would not pay,I do not know if they ever recieved the insurance. Before he died.

The insurance make it hard to claim, there is only one way to go, Name and Shame to a national paper.Eve

    Hi Eve,

Thank you for your kind reply on my post. I am looking through the forum and I am sorry to hear MM has reared it's ugly head again for Slim and yourself. As I'm sure you are aware there is plenty of support on here for you both.

Sending you kind wishes and support,

  • Hi Mohammad,

My Dad also suffers with PN, there is info from a Professor on Myeloma Uk Tv (look at bottom of the page). Has your mum tried Capsaicin cream or Vicks on the soles of her feet? Capsaicin cream is only available on prescription here. Perhaps you could get this in Iran.

    Best Wishes
