    Are you on dialysis ?..,

    I can only tell you about my husband he was admitted with AKF,as he progressed his kidneys regenerated,never went on dialysis!!!!!when it came to his SCT they took on board the knowledge of his kidneys,and he had a lower dose of chemo,but enough to do the job.

    I have never been on "Morphine" but i know folk who have and still are 🙁 and the morphine itself gives problems but its needed, Pete will get better soon use Ice cream and Yogurt (i coudn't do the latter 🙁 ) it will soon get better 😎

    As for the chest problem I think all us MM folk have that I do ?:-/
    I wonder what they mea about "The Immune system" being effected?? are they saying that us MM'ers cant have an operation as we might have a comprimised Immune system??

    Am pleased to read your Temp is dropping, I think its a MM thing ?? I get hot high ish temp every now and again but feel well in myself 😀 and am on Nothing and all bloods are good he tells me Lol.

    I took 2 paracetamol yesterday afternoon once I had got down to 37.7 through drinking for Wales and my temperature was down to normal within 3 hours. I was soaked through with sweat so the paracetamol had done its job. It has remained stable and I am feeling much better. Still sweating buckets but it is DexDay tm so nothing new…[Read more]

    Do not worry about him not phoneing,he will feel all his energy has been zapped out of him,sounds if things are going as planned,Slim use to sleep,on waking he was so apologetic ,I arrived he slept then just as I was leaving he woke,get a good book,they still want you there when they wake up.     As for the Fatigue well I have sort of starting to put mine down::

    1) being less active since diagnosis

    John you have been on Zometa for a fair bit?, I was only on it for two years in 2010 after my SCT in 2009 and was told thats enough ?

    Dai yes i had flu symptoms for a few of the sessions it soon went, But i also would keep an eye out for your temp as it has been a bit of a problem for you.

    I had Infusion 2 this afternoon, followed by a fix of Zometa… my first ever. My consultant said I had slipped through the net and that I should have been on Zometa for a year or so!
