    It is my husband with mm he has not had a transfusion as yet but has been throught to CDT route (this is his second lot) I am sure many others will give you more info than I can. Good luck Gill

    welcobe to a dex free 2011!! i hate the stuff, ihave a broken lamp lampshade and a horrid mess of of a table! That was me throwing things at my poor husband!! I had had enough of the sarcasim. He has been off it for 7 months bliss:-D

    Mari is right it was Gordon who needed and sat on his quite large red tractor!! Still does every day, i am sure it has helped him no end, i am terrified he will pick up an infection as cattle and sheep are not that sqeeky clean, managing so far though.

    Stephen has started the New Year Dex free YIPEE. I know that Dex is a necessary evil but how I hate them. He was on them all over Christmas, plus the poor devil was on RT until the day before Christmas Eve.     most bloods now back to normal except the hb and platlets, so maybe like you gaye he will need regular blood tests, small price to pay!I dont think going to work in the cold helps much how do you stop them it is what keeps him going!
