Just to add its £65 at THE VILLAGE in Sollihull which is only a short distance down the motorway from the airport. But beware of all the speed cameras in the area!

Hi Kay
Is it possible that your getting GCSF injections? If so this may be responsible for the aching bones. Two paracetamol should help.
If your not on GCSF then I havent got a clue but your staff at the hospital are the people to help you and make sure they do, dont suffer in silence.
On a brighter note well done on getting thru the SCT without too many mishaps and hope your start to improve soon. Just take your time and dont do or try to do more than your body wants to until its ready.

Gilly the answer to that is to go on sick leave for the max you are allowed ie 6 months at a time then its only one period of sick!
do you belong to a union and if not get some advise from Macmillan advise line.
I dont know how old you are but I might think of taking early retirement and enjoying your life

Hi Dai
Why is it that trouble always strikes at the weekend when you need the help of all those people who work Mon_Friday 9_5.
Much as you know you can ring that emergency number how long does it take to make a decision that it ReallyIs an emergency?
From experience its when you just know something is not right. Delay to act and rue the day. Because it just means a little longer as an in patient.
I hope you get sorted and in the meanwhile someone gave me a packet of echinaca cold pills.
A vitamin that boosts the immune system and makes short work of colds and I can recommend them as being very usefulll particularly as its flu time of year again.

Hi Bridget, Tony doesn't have any children nor wants any so will have some quality mother son time 🙂 when he is not at work.
I rang my gp today to see if I can stop taking the tablets as I feel so much better but seems THE REASON I FEEL BETTER is because of the tablets and need to take them for 6 months ugh..?. But if they make life more bearable then so be it.
Had a little more retail therapy and bought one of the tablets computer tablet that is its Amazing and would recommend it to anyone you can lie in bed without your lap getting red hot from a laptop it weighs nothing about a bag of sugar. And it knows to put a capital letter after a full stop how clever is that.
Putting the final coat of gloss on the kitchen doors then its finally finished.
It has been on going since the middle of august and am so pleased its finally finished as it was diving me mad.
Try this
Hydrofoil:-)

Dear DeeDee
You have arrived at the right place for help, welcome to our merry band all of whom would rather not be here, but we help each other with advise or just by lending an ear when you feel down.
Dont despair, the illness and the medication will make him feel rotton, but once he responds to the medication and they get his problems under control it will all be worth it.
there is no 'quick fix' and it all takes time but it will be worth it in the end.
I can understand your despair and the worry you must be feeling but you will find some inner strength to help you that you did not know existed.
Plus we are here to help you when you need it
Regards

I got no problems at all!

Tina I envy you, I cant dive but used to love snorkelling in the Maldives our favourite haunt before peter took ill. We did Egypt a few time too and loved that nearly as much.
Like you I am a little apprehensive but have to 'dip my toe in the water" some time and really do need a break. It being Dubai and Tony working there is a bonus he is overseeing a ship with 4 legs for a wind farm before taking it to sea so I am looking forward to seeing it.
The thought of doing nothing for 12 days but soaking up the sun is something to look forward to and meanwhile I haven't been away from the shops lately so thats exciting too.
Dai, if you looked closely Tony has the grey just not so much of it yet! his dad was grey from the age of 36 but distinguished with it. He is so like his Dad.
The saddest thing at the moment is my grandson is suffering from grief, terrified that his mum and dad are going to die. Its very heartbreaking and difficult for a seven year old to understand that not everyone gets cancer ( his other gran died of it ) But help is on the way at last, after some difficulties at school.
The hardest part of life is the fact that I dont have anyone to do anything for me, no one to make a cup of tea no one to wash the dishes ( When I next see him he will get a piece of my mind !) No one to mow the lawn.
But I am getting used to it slowly.

Hi Craig
I looked after my husband and carried on working at the beginning of his diagnosis and I know how hard work it is even when your employer is trying to help you hospital appointments and the odd day when I didnt want to leave him as he was so ill make it ver exhausting for YOU.
I applied succesfully eventualy for a disability living allowance and mobility and with the help of some people who knew how to fill in the forms.(In my case the RAF benevolent fund) but I am sure the citizens advise or Macmillan helpline can help you.
It makes such a difference as we were able to employ a cleaner to come in every Friday which allowed me to have my weekends free apart from shopping and ironing!
theres nothing worse than putting in a full week at work then starting again at the weekend to lower your spirits so get yourself some help in the short term until she is better
