I have suddenly developed a swollen right calf muscle. It extends down to the ankle but stops just above the ankle joint. It can be painful to walk on. Consultant I saw on Friday siad he di not think it was anything to do with Myeloma, not very convincing though. I am going to drop in and see my Doctor next week.

Wow, France and Greece you are getting about. When we went to France last last August they wanted £700 for a week Insurance, that was with the relevant French E111(?) card.

Hi Maureen, I have tried with quotes from them all, but Myeloma with Prostate neither of which is in remission is a big no no for them.

Best of Luck Tom. I got pulled off of Velcade after 3 Doses, PN big time. I am now on Rev/Dex which seems to be working well although I must admit to getting really peed off with the Dex!
Anyway – onwards and upwards.

Every time I go to see a Consultant I get a copy of letter he/she then send to my Doctor. This I find jogs my memory of what has been said and generally explains a lot more. nope, I cannot see a Visual box at the top right or anywhere else for that, the last button on the banner is “close tags”

Hi Stuart, I use Google Chrome google as my standard home page and search engine. I am runing Windows 7 Premium with Norton 360 with Norton Power Eraser. Coughs seem to be the in thing at the moment!
I have the tickle cough as well but it is unusual in that I can go all day without a problem only to start coughing as soon as I go to bed. Hi guys, As you are aware from my previous posts I am just hopeless in this sort of situation, just can’t get the words right on paper for some reason.

Well it is on me at least. I have been on this drug as third line treatment for 3 months now. At the start my PPs were 22.9, first month fell to 6.7 this month down to 3.9. I was not expecting it to be Zero, which I am not expected to reach but it is a nice drop from a low figure. I am having no side affects that I can recognise from it. The…[Read more]
