Hello Nadine. Like everyone here sorry you've had to join but as I have found very quickly you feel you are amongst some supportive friends who understand! No one chats much in our clinic waiting room that's for sure. John my husband was diagnosed in 2007 when he hit his 60th. He was very fit and was lined up for a SCT. He was convinced it would…[Read more]

  • Thanks to all of you. It's been really helpful for us both to hear of all your experiences. John read your comment about goldfish Carol and he knew exactly you meant although not quite so intense. I had done a trawl through the posts and couldn't see any reference to people experiencing side effects that were akin to severe jet lag.

John (my husband) is just coming to the end of…[Read more]

  • Hello everyone.

I have been reading your inspring and poignant stories off and on for the past four years – ever since my husband John was diagnosed just about the time of his 60th birthday. I've never actually 'signed up' as I have always been a bit too busy as I had a job (albeit one where I worked from home).

In the early days I was on…[Read more]
