    Have nothing to add about Velcade.
    Did Steve only get enough stem cells for one chance,from what I can see for allo SCT,you would have to convince them its viable.They like a back to back ,your own sc then a few months later a donor .Eve

    glad Stephen is doing well I know my hospital Lister in Stevenage is not licenced but I have regular visits to UCH and they do so lets hope its soon run out all over the country

    sorry Frank is having trouble white cells and neutrophils are all to do with fighting infection it looks like Franks white cells are to low so the doctor is worried about infection he may be brewing a cold.     Can anyone give me info on this. Frank was at consultant today. They were pleased with calcium, protein, light chains. But were concerned about white cells and Neutrophils (never heard of them).     Its a funny place to meet people, I too am on myeloma xi trial. I have oligo secretory light chain (lambda) mm and was diagnosed in feb11. I had 4 cycles of revlimid etc which took me to complete remission, then sct in August 11. I've been on the maintenance arm of revlimid since then and am slowly returning to fitness.

    I have the same problem,and I am not the patient,cannot blame the Dex:-P
    Wake up, and just cannot get back to sleep,usually play scrabble with my daughter in NZ but she is not always available as its 3pm over there.

    I have an iPad and I downloaded Kindle free from the App store. I set up an account with Amazon and get my books within seconds. They are usually cheaper than hard copy.
