    I have had two years remmision fingers crossed it lasts a lot longer,
    didnt have an SCT due to major kidney damage had CDT for four months follow by a year on 100mgs thalidomide hope this helps.Para protien last month was in a band to fient to measure

  • Yes Bridget CF is a horrible disease. 30 years ago, our friends son died of it at age 16. They are still very much involved in CF (fund raising etc) and tell us of the great progress that has been made.

    Tell your daughter that the best cure for hang over is the "hair of the dog". (that's my excuse)

    I can understand how your mum feels. It's bad enough watching a loved partner ging through this horrible illness, never mind watching your child.

    I know what you mean. The doc gives me diazepam 5 mgs. He gives me 28 at a time, but
    I only take them when a G and T stops working. Packet lasts me about 10 weeks.

    Thanks for that. I do admit to being a nut case!!! I was much worse but counsellor sorted me out. How is your pain?
    Remember Frank pain in side. He kept saying it was muscular and turned out he was right. Hope you got your pain sorted.

    Ward went in lock down today no new admissions place swarming with cleaners.     I was very intered in Johns story did he take any medicine after the CDT apart from pain killers and bone strengthner he had a good remission a lot of people have SCT and only get a year or eighteen months remmission
