Thanks to those of you who answered. A blood test has shown the need for further testing – lymphocytes outwith the range.

Hi Mulberry, Thank you for writing. 😊 My GP was excellent – he has been keeping an eye on me and although he said that he thought it was unlikely – he said that after he said that he would do the required tests to rule it in or out.

I’m glad that your Mum in law is ok.
