Dear Gill what a bugger!! I know how you felt it is like a kick in the teeth !!But somehow you do adjust and there is always another drug or combination of drugs to try As for how long I never ask that one just keep giving me the meds and I will carry on being here.I do hope today has been better and once you talk to the doctor again you can feel better lots of love to you and Stephen Bridget xx

Dear Min no wonder you are both gutted Its hard to believe no-one thought to rule out dvt!! You are such a strong person I am sure you will find the reserves to fight this challenge as you have all the setbacks you have faced in the past What do they propose next? Is the surgery on hold until they sort the tumour issue ? When I first relapsed I was terrified when they told me there were new tumours on my spine , luckily within a short time of starting dex and cyclo it shrank completely so I am crossing everything for you and Peter that his will be the same Thinking of you both love Bridget x

Hi Claire sorry I cat be any help regarding the immunoglobins but I am sure you will get replies from others who can As for boosting immunity my understanding is immunity is always going to below par , Following a normal healthy diet with plenty of vitamin c cant hurt but really its jusy about avoiding situations such as heavy crowds and people who might pass an infection on .Is your dad on acilovir? A lot of people are prescribed it as extra protection .Best wishes Bridget

Hi Michelle I had to smile when I read your post !Falling asleep with a cup of coffee in my hand is my party trick too!! I even fall asleep halfway through a row of knitting and wake up ten minutes later and carry on !My kids think its hilarious Love to your mum and you of course Bridget x
