Dear Gaye sorry you have been unwell I hope you are feeling better now The point about the source of infections being unknown in mm is interesting and a little strange too. However good the care in hospital is there is nothing like being at home so I hope that was your one and only admission!!Take care love Bridget xx

Hi Fran good luck for next week However difficult it is , and you may sail throgh without any problems, it is definitely worth it ! Your positive attitude shines out so I am sure that strength will get you through it Be careful not to overrdo tings once you get home , taking the time to recover is really important and it isnt that long in the scheme of things . Please let us know how you are doing if you feel up to it Best wishes Bridget

Hi Fiona I just want to wish your mum good luck for next week and life will seem much better without that awful pain The wedding is a wonderful thing to look forward to for all of you , your mum must be very proud of her daughters David is so right about the emotional see-saw that goes with treatment and on top of that chemo leaves you so tired , its little wonder we burst into tears !! love Bridget

Hi John the GCSF injections are growth hormones , the same ones used to encourage stem cell prodution before harvesting As for Bendamustine I am afraid I dont know another name for it , in fact I dont know a lot about it at all really. Tina has replied to your post , she and Patrick are much more knowledgeable than I am and I an sure she will be able to help. Thank you for your kind words ,mind you never been a pillar before though been called a plank many times!!Tee-hee love Bridget
