Hi Mari I know what you mean about the use of carer ,I have said it too , but its not right My husband is my partner and for most of us it is our partner ,husband or wife Partner to me means he is my partner in the myeloma process without whom I would not cope .It will be interesting to see hat others think but I do agree a seperate category is a great idea love Bridget x

Hi David sorry I havent had anything like that but if it doesnt itch and isnt spreading its probably ok A few people have posted about rashes that began when they started treatment but theirs sounded more widespread.When you think about it its not surprising really as our poor bodies are bombarded with all these poisonous toxins all at once .Hope someone else can be more help love Bridget x

Roz no wonder you and Michael feel down I agree with Michelle now is the time to go through PALS and complain !!Write it all down before you contact them to help you remember .It sounds hopeful as Michelles complaint at the same hospital was dealt with quickly Good luck but dont wait do it today that way you might have some peace of mind love Bridget x

Good morning great to see this site developing before our eyes .Would it be possible to have a category for people who are in hospital to post their news,updates etc It would make it very easy to find and reply quickly which can mean a lot when you are suck on your own for weeks at a time Thankyou again Bridget

Morning Roz sorry to hear you had a bad night I think we all need our partners reassurance before anything scary so no wonder Michaels nervous If you hadnt finished your conversation perhaps you could ring the nurses station and ask if they could let you speak to Michael? x

Hi Sarah good luck to you both just think you are nearly there, now in a free from treatment time it will be worth it .I am due to have my second sct in the new year , it will be my last as I cant produce any more cells ( they are using the ones frozen last year) As for retail therapy sounds good to me and any strange presents you buy cant be as weird as the stuff I bought when on treatment Good job my children love me !!love Bidget x

Hi Michelle so sorry to hear mum is not well hopefully the anti-biotics will get things sorted quickly When I had pneumonia last year I was very ill but within a couple of days of being on iv anti-biotics I started to pick up very quickly Stubborness is a good as well as bad trait by the way , its what keeps you fighting and your mum is a fighter!!Try not to worry too much and love to mum as well Bridget x

Good morning Gaye I just finished reading about NICE being stripped of of its power to refuse or sanction drugs too Lets hope they dont replace one system with another!!Am I right in thinking gps will now decide? Either way its going in the right direction As Tom says onwards and upwards!!x

What lovely grandchildren you have Tom they must give you so much joy and they look like real characters too !!My eldest grandson is 10 going on 100 I reckon puts me in my place anyway !! x
