Thanks Ian that’s really helpful , where did your wife get the waterproof sleeve that sounds like a good idea and assume the hospital gave you the mouth wash

As he is asymptomatic he is not on any drugs she said it was because alcohol was dehydrating and he needs to drink 3-4 ltrs of water a day  to keep him hydrated  as this will help with his kidney function witch is ok at the moment .

Thanks so much Andy that makes complete sense and I know what to keep eye on now, were going for first appointment since diognosed  today so will see what all his levels are today

Hi Linda , thanks so much for replying we have not been given a nurse and am not aware of any groups in Chelmsford

so am relying on this forum for support , we are due to go back to see consultant on 9th April so hope all will be made a little clearer this will be Peters first appointment since his diagnosis. x

Thanks Helen, im sure I will be posting on her again my husband has tingling in his feet is this a symptom of mm
