Someone smeo where along the lines is telling porkies :-P. we found out today that the consultant – the top dog is on all weekend. I think it is the case of passing the buck. Frank is quite relaxed about it – I think the fact that he will be ok to watch his beloved United tomorrow may have something to do with it!!! :-S The only thing is he has to start the kidney flush and he just loved it the other day – I began to think he had moved into the bathroom. As you say Monday is a good start, although I'm dreading it, I just want it started.

Come on ask anything – someone will be able to give you their experience and its a great place to rant and rave. What an awful thing about your daughters mother in law having MM. I never heard of the da*n illness until nearly 7 years ago when my hubby was diagnosed. He is in hospital awaiting his stems to be transplanted. Nice to meet you Jane my name is Jean and I don't know what I would do without the support of my family and the wonderful people here.

Ann, Peter, Tom, Elaine, helen, Eve and Slim. Thank you so much for you advice and support. I am very grateful for all your friendship. I left him last night about 10.40 – he was worried about me walking to car park at night 😛 He seemed in good form but you are right Eve he will not let you see how he's feeling.

Did not sleep with worry over Frank and of the shocking news of the passing of Pamela (tinkerbell). She was a special person who helped me through some tough times. She has 2 young children. Life is so unfair

Thank you for your good wishes. We thought we would get the call this afternoon but nothing. Frank has his bag packed – so it's just a waiting game. Ann we were told by the transplant co ordinator that we were not to bring any food into hospital. She said digestive biscuits and lots of chocolate 🙂 She also said no bottled water. We could bring in biscuits or anything that is packed. She said the hospital food was rotten bur it was properly cooked and they knew it was safe :-/ didn't think my cooking was that bad. 😛
