    Hi Rabbit

It’s been a while but a lot of things have happened.

Firstly I went for a PET Scan which revealed two things
    1. The mass now has no ‘take-up'(which I think means no blood supply). The cells in the mass are essentially dead.
    2. My Hickman line had a blockage

As a result of 1 I had another two cycles of DVDT and now I just have to have a PET scan every 6 months to a year to make sure the cells stay dead.

As a result of 2 I had to increase my dose of APixapan until the line was removed (Which happened at the end of April.

So I’m finally getting back to ‘normal’, I even had a holiday!!

    Hi Rabbit

Thanks for the feedback. It’s good to know it’s probably just one of those things,

I’ve got a meeting with the consultant again on Monday (2nd March) so I hope to have more information about next steps.

I also have a PET scan tomorrow to see if the four cycles of DVDT did anything to the mass. I was supposed to have had this before the attempt to extract stem cells but the machine broke while I was travelling to the scan.

    Kev
