    Hi Andy,

Phil and I are relatively new members and we have found the forum very useful, it is so nice to know you are not alone and most things we have experienced some one else has been through before. It is also nice to read the good news because as newbies it can all seem a bit overwhelming at the start of the journey.

    I hope the RCD…[Read more]

  • Hi Christine,

I will hopefully be starting a new post tonight about Phil's auto stem cell transplant but I don't want to jinx things by posting it too early! We are going to St. Bart's this afternoon and provided they can find a bed for Phil he will be in for his transplant. If no bed is available we will come home and try again tomorrow.…[Read more]

  • Hi Christine and Chris,

I am afraid we have not found a magic wand yet but just wanted to offer Chris my sympathy as I know how annoying it can be. My husband Phil had six cycles of Velcade sub-cutaneously and during the second cycle his fingers tingled a bit but that went away. At the start of the sixth cycle Phil's feet became very numb and…[Read more]

    Hi Andy

Just thought how nice your welcoming message was. I joined the forum in August and have attended the Cardiff info day. I am asymptomatic but followed closely at clinic. After reading these posts and meeting people I feel in a much better position to deal with whatever happens in the future knowing there is always someone here who can…[Read more]

    Dear Sue
I read your post on the day it went up and wanted to say something to you but was scared that I would say the wrong thing. I pray that Michaels pain is under control and that God gives you strength. I'm so glad that your neighbour came round and now you will have someone that you can talk to who is nearby.
I hope you and your family…[Read more]

    Hi Vicki and Colin

Good to hear from you and glad that Colin is on the right road. What terrible news about Colin's dad. It's never good to hear news like that but at Christmas it just seems so poignant. I do hope you have a brilliant Christmas. I'm a bit worried (there is no satisfying me) this is the best Frank has felt in a long time. He…[Read more]
