Welcome.
I have had smm for 4 years ,having been told I originally required treatment only to have a MRI which confirmed the absence of bone lesions . I have written extensively on smm on this forum as I also happen to be a (virtually retired) doctor.

Hi all
Interested in discussion as I am waiting for an appointment to come to have two roots out in hospital as dentist can't do it because I am on Zometa. It has proved a real nuisance as I am having quite a bit of discomfort and have already been waiting five weeks to hear.

we have just got back from Majorca I must say some sunshine and a few Sangria,s did me the world of good its funny how well we can get relaxed if we take the chance and have a holiday

Yes Dai you are right,I am impatient,it just seems to go on for ever.
David this maintenance treatment is part of the Myeloma X1 trials,after SCT you are randomised for revlimid or Zolinza,or not treatment,Slim got no treatment.
