    Thanks for posting this I love reading positive posts like this. I'm glad your mum came through treatment with such good results. My hubby is on CDT and the Dex is as you say "hard work". My best wishes to your mum and long may it continue.

    Welcome am sory to hear your Mum has got MM and had a bad time with CTD I was on that in 2009 it was a struggle to be honest I did 5 sessions that put me into remissin then Stemm Transplant also in 2009 doing good now 😀 I wish your Mum well with the the new treatment but that also might make Mum ill and weary am afraid.

    Thats great news Alison, give her plenty of Hugs from us all as we know what your Mum has and is going through, but honest it is well worth it Alison.

    Is you Mum still taking the anti sickness pills? I was taking them for a few months after My SCT it was worth it.

    Has any one here been on EPO because of the aneamia caused by poor renal function the consultant has decided to put me on it as my bloods are usually about 9.5 so this should boost me (good job I am not going in for the tour de France!!!)

    Ellen replied and said Chemo tablets can be taken whenever suits the person . She just reiterated that Thalidomide to be taken at night and Dex in morning. Thank goodness, hope next month will be as good as this one. Just have to get the Dex sorted now.:-P
