    Sorry its still not worked out and I do feel for you and Colin, we all want it to happen yesterday when we try and Mobilize the cells and not drag on longer 🙁

    When I had my GCSF's I had two injections every morning is Colin having two injections or just the one??

    Sorry things have not gone to plan,at least you know he might be able to try the other injections so do not get to down.
    As for the Hickman Line,Slims went in on the 23 April and its still in!!!!! originally they said it will not come out until his platelets are over 75,and they are only 50 odd.Its just the flushing through every week…[Read more]

    I live not far from Dover and my husband is treated at local hospital,we are lucky that we have the trials in SE Kent.Slim had to go to Kings for his Stem Cell Transplant it is the nearest for us.

    I know people fall into different degree,s of MM and Slim started off in a very bad place,It still took time to get AA plus disabled badge,Which I thought at the time was bad.IT did eventually come through,and helped us in many ways not as an extra perk,but money spent making like a lot easier for Slim.

    glad to see you are ok did you have a good holiday in spain, is the golf going well. I chose to go the vein way if i have to (fingers crossed i can hang on) because they said i could be trained to used the machine at home so I though 4 days off was better for me

    Eve I applied for AA in 2009 whilst I was still bald(er) and still having treatment not long after my SCT mine was refused :-S and I thought How Bad do I have to be to get AA if I am diagnosed with a terminal Cancer and they say No Thanks you can walk and cook Etc Ext >:-(

    may be i should have said you are entitled to apply for AA,but you have to make sure you fill the square boxes with square pegs not round ones,8-)

    The smell is enough to put you off sweetcorn for life,the funny thing was Slim could not smell it.
    Eat as much as you can as it will not take long for you,to go off food and drink:-(

    Thanks for the kind words of support,well it happened yesterday as planned and the smell of sweet corn followed.
    I am unsure if there is a second batch in cold storage at this moment in time ,they used 8 bags so I suspect I got it all back but I will ask.I am struggling with internet connection but will up date when I can:-D
