    Hi I just love the "smileys" that some of you post. Can you tell me where you get them and how you insert them? Hard to believe I usd to teach Computer studies!!!

  • Dia Thanks for your lovely reply they are giving me a low dose as UCH now believe lower doses can be just as effective they will introduce a lower dose of cyclphomide later 250 mgs

    thank you for all your encourageing words they really cheered me up
    the BM was horrible as they had to have three digs as my bones are difficult to aspirate so I have a bit of a sore bum at the moment:-(

  • Hi Roz you must be so frustrated at the lack of response when you asked for help , it doesnt seem right . I am sure Macmillan would be able to offer counselling , they have lots of experience that could help you as the partner of a cancer patient . I hope you can get some help very soon love Bridget x

    I was thinking about you today,so sorry Jo you have been doing so well,Velcade has worked well for Slim,and they have caught you early,Let hope the BMB shows low results,I can only say its knocked Slims from 80% to 10% in bone marrow,that,s after 4 cycles twice a week,with no heavy side effects.

    you have really been though the mill but you sound a very determined character so I think you will cope very well with SCT we are very aprehensive about all trearments will they work can I cope I think you need to have faith in your medical team they are only trying their best for you
