Husband started trials February this year,allocated CTD side,did 6 cycles with a small blip in between had septic pneumonia 22 days in hospital not very nice,with hindsight,should have been on Clexany,from day one,this is not automatic,but would have saved a lot of problems with blood clots.

Like others I'm pleased to hear that over all your SCT has gone well. I know bone pain can be so debilitating and depressing. Hold in there and do make sure you are given good pain killers. It does take a lot of patience to find the best for you.

You all do right to get SCT put off till after Christmas. Last year they wanted to start my radiotherepy days before Christmas and I held out without any noticable effects. I also swear by Manuka honey. My hubby has MM and I give it to him and I also take it. I did a bit of research on it and from what I gathered it is supposed to be a natural anti biotic. It is expensive – there are different strengths – the higher the strength, the higher the price!!
