I have had the "Swine flu that has two:-/ flu viruses added to it:-S and the Pneumonia jab, the latter No problem the former well it left me with a big lump and a bruise on my arm >:-( but hey if it keeps me well 😎

I was on CDT in 2009 then followed by a SCT in Dec 09 and still doing great 😎 Good to hear you have a great Consultant that always helps.

Just caught up with your post I wish you all the best Bruce with the transplant you are braver than me as I had renal failure but just missed dialysis by a fraction didnt want to do even more damage to my kidneys
I bet you miss your guitar bruce I am sure you will be up and playing again soon

Hi guys.
Just a quick update. My specialist nurse sent off hormone tests for me last week. 1 came back suggesting that I was definitely going through the menopause and 1 came back suggesting either I was, or I am mid-cycle. Great. No real answer! And I won't know about the mid-cycle thing as I'm on the coil so don't get periods anyway.

had the flu jab the other day hence a big bruise I tell everyone it was geoffs fault;-) I had the pnuemonia Jab a few years ago but it didnt stop me getting pnurmonia it only covers you from certain strains

must be hard but try looking at some of the trials,you could always ask for a lower dose of Dex,it would give your mum a bit more energy.
