    Hi Rob

I was going to say a warm welcome to the site, but running out of options,is not welcome

You do need some of the more experienced people to tell you if there are any more option s or Ring the myeloma nurse she might be able to help.

You do not say what age your mum is and I do think it might have some bearing on her position and…[Read more]

We used World First….no health issues to claim for thank god, but we did have a broken camera which they paid for no problems.

  • Hi Dai
I can understand you being angry,

You know you have to keep your eyes wide open, not giving Zometa early is an example.

Why wait?? Ring up speak to someone about the injections, this gives them time to have a talk, before they see you again.Eve

    Thanks Babs and Helen

Babs, I am just not sure whether it is just the revlimid because of the fact I've been on it so long without any side effects. Helen, I think you might be right about slap cheek….sort of didn't want to face into it. I'll see if I'm the same tomorrow and perhaps get a GP appointment if so. I've now scared myself reading…[Read more]

  • Hi Gill

Yes, what a lovely picture. Stephen obviously had a lovely friend in his dog!

I was mentioning about talking to a photo, in an earlier post, this would be a lovely picture to "talk" to.

Take care and continue to be kind to yourself.

    Love Mavis x

    Hi San

Sorry your Mum is having such a hard time. Does your Mum have any arthritis by any chance as my Pain Nurse says the morphine type drugs don't help that pain so I am taking anti-inflamitories as well.

I have also begun to have some physio at home and the exercises are certainly helping my back by strengthening my muscles.

    Do keep…[Read more]

    Hi Ella

My advice is to bring appointment forward. My hubby Frank smouldered for 6 and 1/2 years. Then he had a pain in his left side. Tried to coax everyone Including himself that he had pulled a muscle. Consultant sent him for an MRI which showed up a small lesion on ribs. When he saw radio therapist she said it was so small she wouldn't do…[Read more]

    Hi Michelle
I suppose it could be linked. My transplant has meant I've definitely gone through an early menopause with hot flushes and all that but I suppose this could be a new and different aspect to it. It's just come very much out of the blue!
Thanks for the thought though…may kick me into action re going to speak to my GP about it all.…[Read more]

Can anyone help? I'm currently in remission after having had my SCT in July 2011. The only drugs I am on are revlimid (10mg) and in the past couple of months, I've been given a few GCSF injections to help boost my neutrophils.
The last couple of days though I have had the rosiest cheeks in the world. Yesterday, I thought it was the after effect…[Read more]
