    Hi John

    I had four weely infusions of Zometa for just over two years, at the start I got Flue symptoms nothing too bad, its just that I was pleased when they finnished as my veins were getting harder to use :-S
    But that also worked for me.

    Hi all

    Our new grandchild arrived this morning, a little boy 7lbs 1oz. After 4 grand daughters we have a little grand son (photo attached) We are all so delighted. He is in an incubator but is doing well. Parents over the moon 😀 Cant wait for visiting time.

    I am so glad to read that Ian is progressing and glad that he may walk again. Everything crossed for him. When Frank was on CTD they had to reduce the Dex as he had bad side effects. Great to hear that Ian is handling it well. My very best wishes to you both

    lets hope you have a break after eight or one over the 8! i have had a temporary break from velcade been in hospital with a chest infection temp of 39 and all that, after a few days on IV anti b,s nearly back to normal as for MM Murky Mud Blood disorder from the depths of hell come to mind:-

    Once you have had SCT you are again randomised for maintenance or not. My husband got no treatment,at first I felt he had lost out,but it does give you more time away from the hospitals.

    Good luck on cycle 8 and I hope the side effects are low.
    As for trying to remember what it's like without the side effects well trust me it won't be long till you can't remember side effects.
