Thank you so much both Kevin and rach15, I will make sure my relative sees both your responses, I am sure they will give her greater faith and confidence in her consultant. She was feeling high and dry and abandoned after so much input from the specialists for 2 years before sct.

My relative is 3 months post sct and has not been offered any maintenance drugs. In your experience is this normal?
We think the consultant is giving a break, test blood again then prescribe. Is this you experience please?

Ha everyone on this part of the forum been asked to wait for weeks before they speak to their consultant and have another blood test? We have been asked to wait 10 weeks, with just pain relief, no other drugs. Is this normal?
None of the medical support staff have mentioned a maintenance medication post stem cell transplant. Has anyone else been offered maintenance medication?
