    OUCH OUCH Poor Frank its so painfull I found an old remedy when i had it as the aclovier cream didnt work too well I used cider vineger it took the sting right out smelt a bit like a chip but ity really worked I feel for him How are you Jean good I hope

    So sorry to hear about Melvin it must have been such a shock as it is for us all I have been lucky not had bone damage but my kidneys have been badly damaged. This is such a good site for support help and advise and the myeloma help line can be invaluable they are so kind and informed

    glad you can stay positive although it must be hard. The rev and dex can be a regime its only low dex as i understand it there is a lady in my support group who has been on this regime for over four year and is still in plateau she could not take other meds thalidomide or velcade,fingers crossed for the 5%

    we all try to be brave on the surface but inside I dont always feel it, we have to fight this thing all the way never give in.     it is something todo with the filtration of the kidneys so I expect they were checking to make sure yours were not being affected

    you must be feeling pretty low at the moment its so hard for you that the transplant didnt work,have you got a brother or sister that could give you a good match. I am ok at the moment thats all any one can say I never had an SCT because my kidneys were so damaged. fingers crossed for a good match for you

    We have been away to a B&B twice this year one in Scotland and one in Swanage both times people have asked to keep medication in the fridge if you phone some of these b&b's or hotels they will tell you in advance if it is possible or you could hire a cottage they always have a fridge if you want to go abroad there is a cold pack…[Read more]
