    hi David
    I am about to start cycle 5 of Velcade I have it once a week with cyclo and dex day one and two so not so bad I also have pamidronate once a month
    my PP are now down to 4 so all good except the blip with a dose of pnuemonia been ok in the main

    Hospital doesnt it make you feel rotten I hope you will be better soon penicillin soon put me right they said in the hospital they have had so many chest infections that turned into pnuemonia so you be CAREFUL DONT WANT YOU TO GET GET ANY WORSE:-(

    Have thought about CDT AGAIN it worked first time for you it could work again better than knocking your kidneys out with an SCT

    Could you try and get him refered to The new McMillan cancer centre at Uch
    its state of the art I have recommnded Dia trys as his hospital seem to be mucking him about I suppose you would have to go through McMILLAN BUT ITS WORTH A TRY

    yes its does frighten you especially when its difficult to breath lets hope this next round of treatment puts you right so you can get off to Canada and hug that grandaughter Geoff took me to Dorset for the weekend it was a bit wet but a nice break

    Glad Slim is doing ok Tom and Jean posted on face book and my daughter answered them as my husbands does not do forums i dont know about slim but Geoff is not keen any way starting velcade again on wed:-P

    Been doing well on velcade PP'S down to 4 then i cought a cold which went to a chest infection then pnuemonia 2 weeks in hopital as i was resistant to the anti B's at first until they changed to good old IV penicillin so starting to get back on track and hope to restart velcade next week cycle 5 i hope this is just a blip…[Read more]

    We used World First….no health issues to claim for thank god, but we did have a broken camera which they paid for no problems.

    Babs, I am just not sure whether it is just the revlimid because of the fact I've been on it so long without any side effects. Helen, I think you might be right about slap cheek….sort of didn't want to face into it. I'll see if I'm the same tomorrow and perhaps get a GP appointment if so.     I suppose it could be linked. My transplant has meant I've definitely gone through an early menopause with hot flushes and all that but I suppose this could be a new and different aspect to it. It's just come very much out of the blue!
